There are a few different kinds of VA Loans and each has it's own set of documents that would be required. Here, we'll summarize the documents you would need for each loan type. It's important to note, however, that each applicant is unique so we may need additional documents that are not included on these lists.

VA Purchase
- Signed purchase contract, including realtor contact information.
- If you are purchasing a condo, the Condo Association contact information.
- Most recent, 2 years W-2's
- Pay stubs covering the most recent 30 days.
- Two most recent bank statements for all checking/savings accounts.
- One most recent statement for all investment accounts (IRA, 401k, etc).
- A clear copy of your Social Secruity card.
- A clear copy of your Driver's License
- If you are currently renting, the contact information of your Landlord.
- DD Form 214 (Long Form).
- If you are divorced, a fully-executed Divorce Decree.
Additionally, if you are self-employed:
- Two (2) years signed personal tax returns - including all Schedules.
- If self-employed through a corporation, last two (2) years corporate tax returns as well as a year-to-date profit and loos and balance sheet.
VA Streamline Refinance / Interest Rate Reduction Refinance
- A clear copy of your Social Security card.
- A clear copy of your Driver Licence.
- HUD -1 / Settlement Statement from your most recent purchase/refinance for all mortgages.
- The NOTE fromyour most recent purchase/refinance for all mortgages.
- DD Form 214 (Long Form)
- Most recent mortgage statement for all mortgages.
VA Traditional Refinance
- Most recent, 2 years W-2's
- Pay stubs covering the most recent 30 days.
- Two most recent bank statements for all checking/savings accounts.
- One most recent statement for all investment accounts (IRA, 401k, etc).
- A clear copy of your Social Secruity card.
- A clear copy of your Driver's License
